Kathleen "Kathy" Elaine (Ogle) Broyles, 60, the daughter of Leo and Elsie Hannah (Fox) Ogle, was born April 12, 1943, in Fair Haven, MO, and passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday evening, March 10, 2004, in the Nevada Regional Medical Center, Nevada, after a nearly 20 year struggle with emphysema.
Early in her life, Kathy, along with her family moved to the Richards area then to Nevada. She later attended Northwest Missouri State University for three years.
For the most part, Kathy made Vernon County her home, living in Schell City and Walker. For the past several years, she had lived in Nevada. She worked as a waitress while raising her four children.
Her hobbies included a love of fishing, crocheting, computers and watching and listening to comedy. She loved to laugh and dearly loved her very special dogs.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mary Lee; two nephews, Rolla Ensor and Ricky Hart; and her oldest daughter, Janie, who passed away May 30, 1994. Of special mention is her lifelong companion and love, Dan Garrett, who not only shared her life but helped raise her children. He passed away Jan. 4, 2003.
Survivors include her children - Alvin Lee Feighert, and his wife-Melanie - Nevada, Laura "Lauri" Elaine Ebrecht - Nevada, and April Annette Feller - Lamar; one sister, Dorothy Wagner, and her husband-Robert - Nevada; 10 grandchildren - Mindy Friedli, Warren Friedli Jr.; Elisha Friedli; Amber Feighert; Dylan Feighert; Austin Feighert; Brittni Ebrecht; Anthony Ebrecht; Jordan Feller and Jaylin Feller; several nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
Services were held Saturday, March 13, at the Lewis-Hoagland Funeral Home, Schell City, with Pastor Wes Anderson officiating.
Pallbearers were Tim Bailey, Kelly Scott, Heath Brown, David Leimkiller, Warren Friedli Sr. and Travis Shelton. Interment was in the Green Mound Cemetery, Harwood, under direction of the Lewis-Hoagland Funeral Home, Schell City.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Moss House of Community Outreach in care of the funeral home.

Jasper Alumbaugh
Jasper Alumbaugh, 87, Auburn, CA, formerly of Har¬wood, was born Sept. 11, 1916, and passed away Feb. 23, 2004. He lived in Pittsburg, CA, for 40 years before moving to Auburn, CA, 23 years ago.
Jasper was a World War II veteran.
He was a member of the Bell Road Baptist Church, Auburn, CA, and a former member of the Pittsburg Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Opal.
Jasper is survived by his daughter, Donna E. Sanders - Lake of the Pines, CA; his son, Dennis C. Alumbaugh - Danville, CA; five grandchil¬dren; and his sister, Doris Jack¬son - Nixa.
Services were Thursday, Feb. 26, at the Bell Road Bap¬tist Church, Auburn, CA. In¬terment was in Memory Gar¬dens, Concord, CA.
