Anthony (Tony) Mark Nimmo, 47, Schell City, was born Nov. 4, 1961, in Kansas City, KS, to Fern and Viola Nimmo and went home to be with the Lord March 9, 2009.
Tony moved with his family in 1964 to a farm outside of Nevada where he lived all of his life until this last year when he moved his family to the Schell City area.
Tony attended school in Nevada and stayed on the farm to help his dad.
Tony met Kim in 1990 and they were married Feb. 15, 1992. Tony loved to be outside cutting wood, hunting, fishing or just taking long walks on the farm.
Tony attended First Assembly of God in El Dorado Springs and was saved and joined the church in the mid 90s.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister and brother; and a granddaughter, Kaily; and other family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Kim, and grandson, Caleb, of the home; stepdaughter, Crystal, and her husband, James; three
grandsons – Cadan, Elijah and JJ; four sisters and many other family and friends.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 12, in the Assembly of God Church in El Dorado Springs with Brother Dana Taylor officiating. Musical selections will be–Mountain of God and congregation hymns.
Private burial will take place at a later date in the Green Lawn Cemetery in Schell City. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Redburn, Tony Davis, Mike Alexander, Jim Perry, Rich Schweizer and Austin Taylor.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Lewis-Hoagland Funeral Home in Schell City.
