Irvin Elton Balthrope, 30, Waco, TX, was born June 26, 1973, in El Dorado Springs, and passed away due to an auto accident on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2003.
Irvin was a tower communi¬cations technician.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Balthrope, who passed away in an auto accident in 1989.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Balthrope - Waco, TX; his son, Zachary Balthrope, age eight - Lawrence, KS; his parents, Connie Coleman - Marshfield, and Monty Balthrope - Schell City; three sisters - Rochelle K. Brown (Balthrope - Fordland, Joey D. Kelly - Marshfield, and Francis Balthrope - Rich Hill; four brothers - Jesse Balthrope - Marshfield, Isaac Balthrope - El Dorado Springs, Shiloh Balthrope - Ellsinore, and Marcus Balthrope - Rich Hill; grandparents, Marvin and Loetta Balthrope - El Dorado Springs, and Edward and Helen Kelly - Pecos, TX; many nieces; nephews, aunts, uncles; cousins; and numerous friends.
A memorial service was held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at the Comfort Inn on I 44 and North Glenstone, Springfield, with Bro. Terry Gooch officiating. Graveside services and burial will be in Memorial Park at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, in Waco, TX.
