Ethel M. Gordon, 89, El Dorado Springs, was born on March 4, 1914, in Polk County the daughter of Erick and Anne Hite Stewart and passed away on Wednesday evening, Dec. 24, 2003, in the Community Springs Care Center, El Dorado Springs.
She was united in marriage to William E. Gordon on Dec. 24, 1954. Mr. Gordon preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 1989.
Before moving to El Dorado Springs, the Gordons resided in Nevada.
Mrs. Gordon was a wonderful homemaker and loved to go fishing.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Simmons.
Survivors include four children - Bob Austin - Buffalo, Joann Knapp - Butler, Sharon Skelton - Peculiar and Roy Austin -
Independence; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Saturday afternoon, Dec. 27, in the Clintonville Cemetery under direction of the Hackleman and Sons Funeral Home.
