Billy Ray Grimsley
Billy Ray Grimsley, 80, Fulton, passed away at Fulton Nursing and Rehab on Monday, March 8, 2010. He was born May 7, 1929, in
El Dorado Springs the son of the late John Benjamin and Myrtle (Bybee) Grimsley.
Billy worked with his father and brothers in their family owned masonry business. He retired as a foreman with Union Pacific Railroad. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He enjoyed fishing and collecting railroad memorabilia.
His parents; infant daughter, Sharon Jean Grimsley; two brothers, Orville and John Grimsley; and one sister, Clara Grimsley, preceded him in death.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter, Shirley (Michael) Mox - Kansas City, KS; one grandson, Jared A. Rankin - Kansas City; Caleb Rankin and Allen Michael Rankin - Emporia, KS; and many dear friends.
Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, March 12, in the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating.
