Robert Duane Carpenter

Robert Duane Carpenter, 65, Walker, passed away Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, at Nevada Regional Medical Center. He was born Nov. 16, 1945, in Kansas City to Robert Ralph Carpenter and Helena "Lena" Ellen (Trotnic) Carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Pam – of the home in Walker; five children – Monica Ferrier – Wisconsin, Debbie Ferguson – Kansas City, Kathy Shipman – Statesville, NC, Melissa McClure – Walker, and Robert “Darren” Carpenter – Blue Springs; two sisters, Roberta – Oklahoma City, OK, and Patty – St. Charles; his mother, Lena Carpenter, Oklahoma City, OK; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Private services are planned at a later date with burial in Green Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Lewis-Hoagland Funeral Home in Schell City.
