Betty Smith Baumann

Betty Dean Smith, 55, was born in Long Beach, CA, to Chester M. Smith who was born in Cedar Springs and to Helen (Long) Smith who was born in Etterville, Missouri. She graduated from Jordan High School in Long Beach, California, and lived most of her life in Southern CA before moving to Missouri/Oklahoma a few years ago.

Survivors include her sister, Karen Wainscott, El Dorado Springs; her nephews - John C. Spear III, Jerry C. Spear and Jason C. Spear, along with great nieces and nephew Shannon, Rebecca, Kaitlyn and Joshua Spear - all of Southern California and numerous cousins, family and friends.

A memorial service was held Friday, May 13, in Jay, OK. Final internment will be in Whittier, CA, at Rose Hills Cemetery near her parents. A graveside service will be conducted there.
