Timothy Rodgers, 62, El Dorado Springs, passed away at his home on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, after a long illness. He was born on Dec. 8, 1947, in Oil City, PA, to Vern and Marie Rodgers.
He was a member of the El Dorado Springs Methodist Church. He enjoyed church services, listening to music and was a #1 Pittsburg Steelers fan. For many years Timothy worked in lawn care.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Vern and Marie; all of his grandparents, Agratha and Clarence Rodenbaugh, and Pearl and Earl Rodgers; and two brothers, Joseph Rodgers and Clarence Rodgers.
Timothy is survived by his wife of 25 years, Brenda Rodgers; four sons - Gary Rodgers, Timothy Rodgers Jr., Timothy Leak and Billy Barrett; three daughters - Mary Rodgers, Sabrina Leak and Teresa Barrett; four sisters - Agratha Daniels, Sandria Knapp, Charlotte Messick and Sharon Kicenski; one brother, Danny Rodgers; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one
goddaughter, Charity Hoffman; several nieces and nephews and three special friends - James Smith, Tom Fagan and Meathead.
Services were held on Monday, Dec. 21, at Bland-Hackleman Chapel with Pastor Patty Smith officiating. Suzanne Gladden provided music.
Arrangements were entrusted to Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
