Nina Juanita Black, 89, passed away on Friday morning, Oct. 31, 2003, in the Appleton City Manor in Appleton City. She was born on Jan. 14, 1914, in Perry, IA, the daughter of Charles and Kathryn Becker Black.
She graduated from Perry High School in 1933. She was a bookkeeper for the Chrysler Corporation for a number of years.
In 1980, Nina moved to El Dorado Springs from Boulder, CO. She made her home in El Dorado Springs until she moved to the nursing home.
Graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, at the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry, IA, under the direction of Hackleman and Sons Funeral Home.
