Charlotte A. Walentiny

Charlotte Ann Walentiny, 71, Bolivar, died Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, in St. John’s Regional Hospital, Springfield. The daughter of George and Evelyn (Humphrey) Burns, she was born at Waterloo, IA, on Nov. 14, 1937.

She and David Lee Walentiny were married July 23, 1965, in Phoenix, AZ. He preceded her in death July 21, 2007.

A resident of El Dorado Springs for 14 years before coming to Bolivar, she was employed for several years by Sentry Insurance Co. and was a homemaker.

Survivors include five children - Susan Buist - Springfield, Andrea Redburn - Bolivar, Alexa Moore - Collins, Brett Walentiny - Phoenix, AZ, and Steven Schwab - Phoenix, AZ; and seven grandchildren - Jessica Buist, Matthew McIver, Kolton Walentiny, Kassidy Walentiny, Hope Redburn, Israel Redburn and Alyssa Moore.

Memorial services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, in the First Assembly of God, El Dorado Springs, with Rev. Dana Taylor officiating.
