Patricia Jo (Dobbs) Amick, 53, El Dorado Springs, passed away on Oct. 4, 2010, after fighting a long battle with cancer.
On Feb. 6, 1976, she was married to Eldon Amick.
Pat owned Cedar Creek Beef Jerky at the time of her passing. She had been affiliated with the jerky business for approximately 20 years in either management or ownership. She also owned a farm where she loved to go to get away from her worries and spend time with her grandkids.
Preceding her in death were her father, Kenneth Dobbs, and one brother, Dennis Dobbs.
Pat leaves behind two sons, Justin Amick and Kendall Burns; a daughter-in-law, April Amick; three grandsons - Dylan, Wyatt and Garrett; her mother, Martha Dobbs; five brothers - Gary, Cotton, Sonny, Rick and Doug; and six sisters - Beverly McKinley, Deanna Hada, Rebecca Worthington, Andrea Yoder, Lisa Bryant and Penny Deragowski.
Arrangements were under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center in memory of Pat Amick.
