Wilma J. Roberts Belew, 75, Wheatland, formerly of Appleton City, passed away at her home on March 22, 2011, after a long illness. She was born to Deb and Irene Waters on Sept. 22, 1935, in St. Clair County.
Wilma worked for many years as a microprocessor at IBM in Kansas City and later at the Rich Hill Bank. She was a businesswoman in Taberville for many years.
She loved the outdoors, especially crappie fishing and caring for her flowers and garden.
Preceding Wilma in death were her parents, Deb and Irene Waters of Taberville; and her husband, Donald Belew, of Wheatland.
Survivors include her son, Bill Roberts - Taberville; granddaughter, Christina Roberts - Oak Harbor, WA; and a great-granddaughter, Hayley Roberts - Oak Harbor, WA.
Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, at Taberville Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home in El Dorado Springs.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lung Cancer Awareness and left at the funeral home.
