Rachel Bough

Rachel Bough, 92, Wichita, KS, passed away on June 9, 2009. She was born Oct. 16, 1916, in Montevallo, the second youngest of 12 children.

She married Buddy Paul Bough at the age of 14. To this union were born eight children.

Rachel was a homemaker all her life, residing in Missouri until 1961 when she moved to Wichita, KS, with her three youngest children.

Rachel was preceded in death by her husband; 10 siblings; and three children.

Survivors include one sister of El Dorado Springs; five children – Judy Garret – Salem, OR, Richard Bough – Shawnee, OK, Michael Bough – Pitcairn, PA, Douglas Bough – Sedgwick, KS, and Eunice Susan Bough – Wichita, KS; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives and close friends.

Services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, June 12, in Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home, El Dorado Springs, with Chaplin Roger Lambre officiating. Burial will be in Sandridge Cemetery under direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
