Floyd Mortimer Chamberlin

Floyd Mortimer Chamberlin, 94, was born Dec. 23, 1908, in Liberty Center, OH, to Oba D. and Emma Hosch Chamberlin. He passed away March 6, 2003, at Community Springs Healthcare Facility, El Dorado Springs.

Floyd was a lifetime member of the Methodist Church. He lived many years in Monroe, MI, where he worked for Lake Stamping Co. from 1939 until retiring in 1972. After retirement, Floyd moved to Shell Knob.

Floyd was preceded in death by his wife, Eva.

He is survived by his daughter Neoma Blystone - El Dorado Springs; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and great-great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Services were held Sunday, March 9, at Field Cemetery with Rev. David Collum officiating. Interment was in Field Cemetery, Shell Knob, under direction of Sheldon Funeral Home, El Dorado Springs.
