Roy 'Mack' McCormick

Roy “Mack” McCormick, 102, passed away Monday, Nov. 16, 2009 at North Kansas City Hospital. Mack was born Dec. 23, 1906, in El Dorado Springs.

He loved life, especially gardening and being with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Odie McCormick, second wife, Frankie Williams; and son, Gary McCormick.

Survivors include his nieces, Charity (Jim) Davis and Melba Johnson; nephew, Robert Ray Cole; and many close friends.

Services began at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at McGilley Antioch Chapel in Kansas City with a visitation prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. Burial was in White Chapel Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
