Trisha Sue Eckard Eaton

Trisha Sue Eaton, 33, El Dorado Springs, was born June 16, 1979, in Nevada, to Zande Wade Eckard and Karen Sue Smith. She passed away as a result of an automobile accident just north of El Dorado Springs at 12:20 p.m. on Aug. 17, 2009.

On Aug. 15, 2009, she was united in marriage to Jerry Eugene Eaton at Kids Chapel. They have one son, Colton Wade Eaton.
Trisha has two other children, Sidney Nicole Bayless and Jason Leroy Thomas.

She had been employed at Dunbrooke Warehouse for just over one year. Trisha enjoyed riding her horse, Willy, with her husband and children.

Preceding Trisha in death were her grandparents, Robert E. Smith and Darlene Smith – El Dorado Springs; her grandmother, Dorothy Anne Koca Eckard – El Dorado Springs; and her grandfather, Wilford Henry Eckard – Alamosa, CO.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Eaton, and son, Colton Eaton; a daughter, Sidney Bayless; a son, Jason Thomas; a step-son, Gary Eaton; a step-daughter, Tiffanie Piper; her mother, Karen Smith; her father, Zande Eckard, and wife, Linda; one sister, Stephanie VanReenan; three step-brothers – Jason Vickers – Carthage, Jared – Vickers – Nevada, and Justin Vickers – El Dorado Springs; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Debbie Eaton; a brother-in-law, Bud Eaton; a sister-in-law, Crystal Lawerance; and soon to be brother-in-law, Jeff Simrell.

Services were held on Friday, Aug. 21, in Bland-Hackleman Chapel with Rev. Brent Bland officiating. Music was provided by step-mother, Linda Eckard, and Barry Witt. Interment followed in Osceola Cemetery, Osceola, under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home, El Dorado Springs.

Casketbearers were – Zande Eckard, Danny Eckard, Stephanie VanReenan, Jeff Simrell, Bud Eaton and Jerry Eaton.
