Carl Coulter, 92, of Forsyth, died on Thursday, June 23, 2011, at his residence, surrounded by his four children.
He was born on Dec. 19, 1918, at Forsyth, the son of Archie and Mary Coulter.
Carl was a WWII Veteran. He worked on the building of the Beaver, Table Rock and Stockton Dams. He was a lifelong resident of Taney Country. Carl was a member of Riverview Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children – Carole Linkous and husband, Curtis, of Forsyth; Nancy Miller and husband, Danny, of Colfax, LA; Chuck Coulter and wife, Teddie, of Brighton; Lyn Findley and husband, Rick, of Forsyth; Brenda Roberts and husband, Bill of Springfield; Gary Horner and wife, Dana, of Springfield; and Anita Brockway and husband, Dan, of Bella Vista, AR; three brothers – Joe Coulter and wife, Jean, of El Dorado Springs; Ray Coulter and wife, Aletha, of Forsyth; and Paul Coulter of Ava; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Wilma Riddle Coulter of 48 years and Lora Fern Horner Coulter of four years; two brothers, Roy Coulter and Earl Coulter.
Services were held Monday, June 27, at the Riverview Bible Baptist Church. Burial followed at Snapp Cemetery in Forsyth.
Arrangements were under the direction of Forsyth Whelchel Funeral Chapel.
