Jason Lee Thomas

Jason Lee Thomas, 28, Nevada, died Saturday, June 11, 2011, in Richards. He was born January 26, 1983, in Kansas City. 

Jason grew up in El Dorado Springs and Walker. He graduated from Northeast Vernon County High School in 2002. Jason worked at various nursing homes and also the Nevada Habilitation Center. He loved spending time with his family, especially his children. 

Survivors include his wife Erika, Gallatin; one son, Draysen Thomas, Gallatin; one daughter, Bryleigh Thomas, also of Gallatin; his mother and step-father, Florence Joanne Rosales and her husband, Robert, Walker; his father and step-mother, Terry Thomas and his wife, Debbie, Schell City; one brother, Mathew Thomas and his wife, Sherry, Nevada; one half-brother, Terry Thomas Jr., Schell City; one half-sister, Tasha Thomas, Montrose; paternal grandfather, Hershel Thomas, Ft. Scott, KS; his father-in-law, Phillip Steger, Cameron; his mother-in-law, Martha Steger, Gallatin; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and two nieces, Leandra Thomas and Miranda Thomas. He was preceded in death by two step-brothers, Robert Rosales Jr. and George Rosales. 

Funeral services w ere at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June15, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dederick.
