E. Nadyne Haines Bond, 88, Nevada, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at Christian Health Care in Nevada. She was born July 7, 1922, in Portia, to Granvill E. Jackson and Goldie Bessie Stutesman Jackson. She married Elvis Haines on April 12, 1941, and he preceded her in death on April 28, 1976. Later she married Elton E. Bond on Sept. 6, 1983, in Miami, OK. He preceded her in death on July 25, 1996.
Nadyne grew up in the Harwood area and graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 1940. She was a member of Royal
Neighbors in El Dorado Springs. Nadyne was a pink lady at Nevada Regional Medical Center and later worked as a service master for Nevada City Hospital for over 20 years for Nevada City Hospital until her retirement.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Coonrod, and her husband, Robert – Nevada, one grandson, Troy Munsterman, and his wife Janet - Nevada; one step-grandson, Jeff Coonrod, and his wife Lori - Nevada; six great-grandchildren - Brandon Munsterman, Brooke Munsterman, Marli Coonrod, Lani Coonrod, Dylan Coonrod and Dakota Stigall; and one niece, Kay Briscoe - Rich Hill, She was preceded in death by two husbands; one sister, Opal W. Wittmeyer, and one brother, Estille Jackson.
Services were held Saturday, June 11, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Dr. William Cox officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Walker.
