Orleta Belle Wells, 85, of Tulsa, OK, passed away, Saturday, June 11, 2011.Orleta was born April 1, 1926, in Salina, KS, daughter of the late Orley Conger and Julia Holly (Finch) Clair.
She attended Kansas City College and Bible School in Overland Park, KS. Orleta was an accomplished musician. She sang, played the piano and the accordion. She was an avid reader, crocheted and loved to travel.
She is survived by two sons, Robert G. Jr. and his wife, Priscilla Wells, of Monrovia, CA, and Loren and wife, Stephanie Wells, of Nevada; two daughters, Carol Ruth and husband, Terry Hillis, of Austin, TX, Joyce and husband, Anthony Hauck, of Tulsa, OK; two brothers, William Clair of Hays, KS, Jerry Clair of Columbia, MO; two sisters, Orva Lee Day of Independence, and Judy Warner of Yorba Linda, CA; grandchildren - Robert, Suzanna, Stephen, Oliver, Joe, Joyce, Wendie, Larry, Daniel, Ben, Sarah, Terry Lee, Rebecca, Robin, Alissa, Katey and Hannah - and 12 great-grandchildren.
