Doug Roundtree, 54, Tulsa, OK, passed away Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at his parent’s home, Ed and Earlene Rountree, in Owasso, OK, after an eight years courageous battle with cancer. He was so ready to meet his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
He graduated from East Central High School in 1973, and attended NEO in Miami, OK.
He joined Danny Brumble Painting Co. and worked as a painter. He moved his business to California in 1993 but returned to Tulsa in 2001.
He attended Asbury Methodist and the PDF class. This class has been wonderful to him, supporting him, caretaking, cards, calls, visits and birthday parties to honor him.
He is survived by his parents; sister, Cindy and husband, Steve Barnes, their two sons, Shaun and Christopher and wife, Ali; uncles and aunts, including Bob and Earlene May and Sissy and Dwight Hamby – El Dorado Springs; cousins; and a host of friends.
A memorial service was held in Eastwood Baptist Church on Thursday, Sept. 10.
