Mildred A. Fox, 91, El Dorado Springs, passed away on Monday afternoon, July 28, 2003, in the Cedar County Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 15, 1912, the daughter of Thomas A. and Mabel Kauffman Shanks.
Mildred had lived most of her life in the Virgil City community and had resided at Community Springs Care Center for the last few years.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, El Dorado Springs and the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, and her parents. Survivors include cousins.
Graveside services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 31, in the Virgil City Cemetery with Pastor Jim Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Virgil City Cemetery under the direction of the Hackleman and Sons Funeral Home.
