Rebecca Lynn Delk, 54, El Dorado Springs, was born on April 14, 1949, the daughter of Frank and Ruth Kelly. She passed away on Friday, July 4, 2003, at St. John's Regional Health Care Center, Springfield.
On July 25, 1975, she was united in marriage to Don Delk.
Rebecca worked at Pyramid Life Insurance for many years. After her health declined, she traveled and spent time with family. She was a member of the Church of God (Holiness).
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Kelly Jr., a sister, Karen Gardner; and grandson, Jacob Fishburn.
Survivors include her husband, Don, - of the home in El Dorado Springs; her mother, Ruth Kelly - Fort Meyers, FL; her sister, Michelle Traband - Lawrence, KS; her children - Mike Knoth - Olathe, KS, Tracy Ennis - El Dorado Springs, Rick Delk - El Dorado Springs, Randy Delk - Kansas City, Christy Ennis - El Dorado Springs, Jama Nordby - El Dorado Springs, Kelly Delk - El Dorado Springs, and Amanda Watkins - Lamar; 22 grandchildren; nieces; nephews and a host of friends.
Rebecca was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all.
Services were held Monday, July 7, in the Hackleman Chapel with Rev. Joe Trussell officiating. Musical selections were provided by Faith Trussell. Interment was in the Sinking Creek Cemetery in Everton, un¬der direction of the Hackleman and Sons Funeral Home. Pallbearers were William Ennis, Paul Nordby, Trevor Watkins, Greg Meyer, Ricky Delk and Randall Gainey.
