Sarah Ellenmarie Eversole, 87, was born Nov. 17, 1915, in Oakhill, KS, and joined her family in heaven, July 11, 2003, surrounded by her family and friends at the Beautiful Sav¬ior Lutheran Home, Belton. She was a member of the Roscoe Christian Church, where she leaves many close and wonderful friends and memories.
Sarah leaves behind her husband of 50 years, Gordon Ever¬sole; three children - Darlene Straley, Judy Brotherton and husband, Jim, and William Eversole and wife, Ginny; two sis¬ters, Betty Osbourne and husband, Dean, and Myrtle Williams and husband, Bill; two brothers, Curt Rickley and wife, Mary, and Orval Rickley; six grandchildren - Kathryn Altis, Patricia Mitchell and husband, Jim, Jamie Straley, Nancy Roe and husband, Dan, Derek and Brad Eversole; five great-grandchildren - Joseph, Jason and Sarah DuPont, Jasper (Beau) and Shannon (Sissy) Mitchell; and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank NorthCare Hospice, Becky and Katie, for all their loving care.
Graveside services were held Monday, July 14, at the Oyer Cemetery, Oyer, under direction of the E.K. George and Sons Funeral Home, Belton. Memorial contributions may be made to NorthCare Hospice, 3100 NE 83rd, North Kansas City, MO 64119.
