Lucy Lea Leer, 30, El Dorado Springs, formerly of Nevada, passed away at her residence Wednesday, June 16, 2010, following a sudden illness. She was born July 15, 1979, in Nevada to Alfred Ray Leer and Marilyn Gayl Chaney.
Lucy was born and raised in Nevada and spent most of her life there. She recently resided in El Dorado Springs. She attended the Pentecostal Church and loved to sew and raise her children.
Survivors include two daughters, Amieleigh Barnard and Erin Barnard – both of the home; her mother, Marilyn Gayl Chaney – Clinton; her father, Alfred Leer – Adrian; one brother, Telly Leer–– the state of Colorado; and friend, Gary McKinney – of the home.
A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, in Newton Burial Park in Nevada with Chad Polland officiating.
