Agatha Arlene Green, 62, Nevada, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at her home. She was born Aug. 10, 1948, in Halo, TX, to Henry Elton and Muriel Dean Witte.
She married Fred Green in 1993 in Carrabelle, FL, and he preceded her in death in 2006.
Agatha lived in Texas until moving to Missouri at the age of seven. She graduated from Nevada High School in 1966. She lived in Kansas City for a number of years before returning to Nevada where she worked at Farm and Home Savings, Nevada State Hospital and 3-M from 1983-1992. She lived and worked for Fugate Motors in El Dorado Springs from 1994 to 2008 when she retired.
She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother. She had lived in Nevada for the past three years.
Survivors include her daughter, Lori Coonrod, and her husband, Jeff - Nevada; four grandchildren - Marlina Coonrod, MaLani Coonrod, Dylan Coonrod and Dakota Stigall; one sister, Kay Arbuckle, Carrabelle, FL; one nephew, Shannon Arbuckle, and his wife, Lisa - Excelsior Springs, and one niece, Christy Arbuckle - Orrick.
In addition to her husband, Fred Green, she was preceded in death by one nephew, Dustin Kenneth Arbuckle.
A memorial service was held on Friday, Dec. 10, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Dr. William Cox officiating.
