Wayne Bradley, 79, Temple, TX, formerly of El Dorado Springs, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, in a Temple, TX, nursing center. He was born July 22, 1931, to Bethel and Serena (Duke) Bradley in Wisdom, MO.
He married Carolyn O’Brien in 1980.
Wayne was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Leavenworth, KS, for 51 years. He was a carpenter by trade and, later in his life, he enjoyed raising cattle and training horses full time. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Stockton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Carolyn Sue; grandson, Paul; and great granddaughter, Sophie Grace.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn – Temple, TX; sons, Tony – Weatherford, TX, and Lance - El Dorado Springs; daughters, Marcella – Dallas, TX, and Marilyn - El Dorado Springs; stepson, Patrick – Belton. TX; sister, Laveta Turpin - Colorado Springs, CO; eight grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and many friends.
A memorial service was held Sunday, Dec. 12, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple, TX, with Rev. Elwyn Johnston officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Jailhouse Rock Ministries, P. O. Box 880, Stockton, MO 65785.
