Bonnie J. Noblitt, 72, Bolivar, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010. She was born Jan. 5, 1938, in Vernon County to Russell and Reba (Miller) Ingram.
She was united in marriage to Lowell Noblitt Jan. 30, 1956, and to this union four children were born.
She is a member of the Mt. View Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, was an excellent seamstress and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was dedicated to her faith and church. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Stanley Ingram; and a sister-in-law, Carol Ann Ingram. She passed away on the 40th anniversary of the death of her father.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lowell Noblitt, of the home; four children - Cheryl Fast and her husband, Gene - Bolivar, Dennis Noblitt and his wife, Donna - Bolivar, Randall Noblitt - Bolivar, and Paul Noblitt and his wife, Valerie - Bolivar; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Doris Ingram - Springfield; two brothers, Bill Ingram and his wife, Joyce - Goodson and Jerry Ingram - Brighton; a sister, Murnie Fast and her husband, Pete - El Dorado Springs; Long, Gough and Boultinghouse cousins in the El Dorado Springs area, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Services were held Monday, Dec. 27, at Pitts Chapel with Bro’s. Jerry Crain and Bobby Budd officiating. Burial followed in Payne Cemetery in Polk.
Pallbearers were her grandsons - Jeremy Fast, Josh Fast, Dustin Noblitt, Austin Wells, David Noblitt, Markus Noblitt, Jacob Noblitt and Jonathan Noblitt. Honorary pallbearers were her granddaughters - Amy Baker, Rachel Noblitt, Anna Lea Fast, Ashley Brown, Amanda Fast, Riley Azevedo and Hannah Noblitt. Memorial contri-butions may be made to the Mt. View Missionary Baptist Church, or the American Cancer Society.
